Beginning Adult Cross Country Skiing
Description: Get out this winter and learn to cross-country ski! This class will cover all the basics of uphill and downhill travel on the tracks or touring in the backcountry. Information on equipment, clothing, waxing and where to ski will be provided to students before the first class session. Participants are responsible for supplying their own ski equipment. There are no specifications for equipment for the class; however, narrower skis without metal edges suited for groomed trails are preferred. Waxless or "fish-scale" skis are fine.
